FOCUS EXPANDS INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS FOR 2018 EDITION

FOCUS Welcomes over 30 new European affiliates

FOCUS is the only UK trade event where attendees from film, TV, advertising and games can meet with content makers, film commissions, production services and locations providers from over 60 countries. Each December, the industry’s key players converge at FOCUS, transforming two days of meetings, networking events and seminars into deals and lasting business relationships.

For the fourth edition taking place on 4/5 December at the Business Design Centre, FOCUS has significantly expanded its European reach by creating formal partnerships with a range of industry associations

Joining longstanding pan-European partners European Film Commission Network and European Federation for Commercial Film Producers are new affiliates European Coordination of Independent Producers, European Women’s Audiovisual Network, The International Federation of Film Distributor’s Associations and European Documentary Network.

Over 30 associations from 20 European countries join as new affiliates for the 2018 edition of FOCUS. They are:
Association of Austrian Film Producers, Belgian Film Producers Association, Bulgarian Producers Association, Czech Republic Audiovisual Producers’ Association, Audiovisual Producers Finland, French Association of Location Scouts, French Independent Producers Association. French Film Producers Association, French Association of Line Producers, French Association of Location Managers, German Producers Alliance for Film & Television, Greek Producers Association, Association of Hungarian Producers, Association of Icelandic Film Producers, Commercial Producers Ireland, Screen Producers Ireland, Italian Confederation of Audiovisual Artisans, Latvian Producers Association, Lithuanian Independent Producers Association, Producers and Directors of Montenegro. Dutch Association of Film & TV Professionals, Polish Producers Alliance, Portuguese Association of Film Producers, Portuguese Independent TV Producers Association, Spanish Association of Audiovisual Production Professionals, Galician Association of Independent Audiovisual Producers, Swedish Film & TV Producers.

FREE registration also includes the packed content programme, featuring over 100 expert speakers, who will address the key opportunities and challenges concerning the international production industry today. This programme is developed in consultation with leading industry organisations, including the British Film Institute, British Film Commission, Pact, Directors UK, Advertising Producers Association, The Production Guild, ScreenSkills, UK Screen Alliance, Creative Europe Media Desk UK and Women in Film and TV.
