  • We are looking to shoot on the deck of an aircraft carrier, in harbour, using its rising platform to reveal our own action vehicle. Would like to see fighter aircraft on deck. Script set in summer and begins in a English ferry port location. Would like to shoot all in one place?

There are several aircraft carrier museums in the United States. the Intrepid in New York, the Midway in San Diego, the Hornet in San Francisco and the Lexington in Texas.

I don’t know the status of the elevators on any of them but know that the Midway has been open to filming in the past. There may be a couple potential ferry port cheats in all of those harbors depending on the scope of work planned.

Additionally, you could speak to the US Department of Defense entertainment liaison, Mr. Phil Strub in regards to using US assets that may be in Europe around the time you want to shoot.
