    We are in need of experienced fixers in the following locations Corsica, Sardinia, Mallorca, Cyprus and Crete for a Channel 4 food programme. We will need help with translation, logistics and finding contributors, locations and stories. Ideally we would like someone who knows exactly what important local dishes we should be focusing on, where we should go and who we should meet in order to really understand the cuisine of the region. They would need to have a good command of English and be available to work during the months of June and July not necessarily on a full time basis. Any recommendations welcome!

    I’m a film fixer specialist of Corsica but I can also cover the other spots you mention as I shot a lot in Sardinia , (next door Island ) Cyprus and Mallorca .. I could organize Corsica and Sardinia easily but also the 4 places if you want to have only one contact .

    Of course I know well the food in Corsica and Sardinia and have worked on such TV show so know well your needs and can easily find the right places and offer my expertise

    Hi Martha, I have a location & production services company in Italy.
    I produced the Pirelli Calendar in Corsica on 2012. Food, wine and local atmospheres have been deeply tried and tasted as you can imagine. Rosè is amazing…fish is gorgeous and the meat is wild!
    In Sardinia I spent almost 30 years, I have a house in the east north. Sardinia is totally different from Corsica and completely different from all the other italian regions developed on the ocean. His food has historical origin from roman period…little fisherman activity and big country side areas where born all main food products.
    I born in Naples and I work all around Italy…food is a passion!!!
    I organized a photo book called Pasta for Lagostina Company. It was a photo reportage of nine women of different italian region preparing and cooking their pasta receipt, typical from each region.
    Few years ago I did a same job for Food Channel Usa with Wolfgang Puck tasting all south italian regions kitchens.
    So I’d love to help you in this smell, colour and taste trip visiting the most amazing and rare locations in the two islands.

    Halloumi cheese, paskies, flaounes, pishies, makarounia tou fournou etc etc These are just a few of the plethora of the delicious traditional dishes found only in Cyprus.

    Being a documentary filmmaker since 1990 and making a lot of projects for the Cyprus Tourism Organization, the regional board of tourism of Pafos and Troodos as welll as for the Ministry of Culture about the history, tradition and culture of Cyprus, I know this island like the palm of my hand.
