NEW ZEALAND is open for business!

Thanks to the bravery of our Government to implement strict lockdown measures quickly, we have ‘effectively eliminated’ Coronavirus, and have moved to ‘Level 2’ of lockdown, meaning – maintaining social distancing where possible, strict tracing measures, and gatherings of groups of no more than 10 people. However, we expect that with no cases and no deaths for several days now, this limit will be lifted in the next week or two.

While our borders are still closed to foreign nationals, (and may be for some time), we are excited about having the ability to carry out productions for our overseas clients.

Strict measures have been put in place by our guilds and film organisations, and with the guidance our Government. All film shoots must be registered with Screensafe, and strict guidelines adhered to for safe filming.

Self-insurance is the key. Back up crew and talent are advised in the event that someone gets sick.

Directors and clients can be online remotely and view what we are shooting, within seconds of realtime with new technology and ways of communicating efficiently. Including for some helicopter shoots.

As we enter our winter months, it’s a great time to shoot TVC’s in our beautiful country. It only snows in the high level parts of the country, so as well as ‘winter’ looks, the grass is green, our beaches, mountains, coastlines, cities and other locations are all ready and waiting.

    TURKEY is open…

    Hello from Istanbul!

We’re really excited to announce that advertising, TV and film production is open in Turkey now, of course with the ‘new normal’ standards. It’s been very difficult and strange times for all of us, we all missed to be on set already and happy to say that we’re on now!

Please see the details here: https://medium.com/gogo-project/production-during-covid-19-in-turkey-e48ba57fb6cc

Guys, it is Stoyan from Bulgaria.

Bulgaria has lifted the travelling ban on citizens of the Schengen zone and the EU, effective as of 22nd May.

“The 14-day quarantine period will no longer apply to Bulgarian citizens and citizens of other EU countries who are travelling for humanitarian reasons and those who are “representatives of the trade, economic and investment activities”.

Stay sane and come shoot safely in Bulgaria this year 🙂

Also, for the past week we have a strong tendency of more recoveries from the virus than new cases.

    Dear All,
How are you? We hope you are healthy and motivated for a new start. The world is in need of good storytelling now more than ever.
A few words from us at Red Production Serbia, during the COVID19 lockdown situation, we have had more than six projects filming for foreign and local clients, with clients such as Vileda, Eurovision, Frikom. We provided them with a virtual Internet presence using the platforms and procedures.
Beside working from a distance we can suggest you come here, feel safe and work in a similar manner as before. Our borders in Serbia are once again open for traveling and we have free entry without the need of Coronavirus tests. Bars and restaurants are open and spring is in full swing. In addition to Serbia where life has returned to normal, Montenegro is a Corona free country with zero infections at the present time, one of the few in the whole world, and Croatia where we have 0 per day new cases for the past few days, allowing the country to prepare for tourists.
Even with these positive circumstances developing, we are still taking all of the precautions necessary during filming as recommended by the Chamber of Commerce and Film Commission. Above that, we have our own even more strict procedures to keep the crew safe and able to work.
Our airports are open, we have flights connecting us to every major city in Europe. And we are looking forward to working with you as soon as you have suitable projects.
    Thank you, and stay well,

We’ve been hoping the borders to be opened, but we guess it would take a longer time.

We do receive inquiries for local crew production, though.

Here in Israel we are in our 3rd lockdown & quarantine period. So we shoot locally on and off with the restrictions, some productions even managed to shoot abroad. But service part of the production is almost frozen since March, because most of this time all travelers needed to go to 2 weeks isolation upon arrival. And in additional needed to have a special clearance papers for entering the country another part of a time. And of course nothing can be planned, because noone knows when the next lockdown is coming.
For now travelers arriving in Israel from a green location, who did not stay in a red location in the last 14 days before arriving in Israel, will not be required to go into isolation.
Looking forward with hope. Vaccination in Israel should be finished till summer, means we may become open to a world again soon )

    We’re working in Southern Spain!!!
Filming is considered as Industry, by the Andalucia Film Commission.
Two weeks ago we filmed in various locations, to include countryside, and city. All permits were granted and there was a definite feeling of support from the government bodies, local municipalities and authorities and the Malaga Film Commission gave us their full support.
We filmed a commercial for Finland, and we are planning to shoot another in March.
We followed the safety protocols and had fabulous food!
