We know there are plenty of cafes in Paris, but to find one that will let us film, that’s another story. We only need the exterior, and we’d like to shoot at night. Here is a photo of our ideal cafe.

Any small & classic cafes that you think would be great for filming, we’d really appreciate it!

can you shoot abroad? Because we have several cafes in Budapest/Hungary where you can easily shoot during the night.
    Cheers, Zsofi

Hello, You have plenty of Cafe available. We just need to choose the right day.
    Best regards

We have many cafe options in South Africa, night or day.

    It is also

It is also very cost effective to shoot here and Cape Town is so fabulous right now as it is Film Season.

Please let me know if you need anything.

    Kind Regards,

We have plenty of outside bars available in Tenerife… plus crew, equipment and warm weather throughout winter. Here are a couple of images from the database, but plenty more on our doorstep to choose from.

    Best of luck!

I am in Paris and I can give you a hand.
Do you have a budget, a date and shooting duration?

    Hello from Paris =

Please see below a small sample from my ‘portfolio’. As you may also see on my web site, (web-albums ‘Ile-de-France Locations’, ‘Paris Street Scenes for A2 and Canal+’), I have experience in night-time photography & cinematography. I also shoot often on rue Montorgeuil (the cafe in your sample) and I know ‘film-friendly’ cafe-bar-restaurant owners in several other Paris neighborhoods (St. Germain, the Latin Quarter..), including one used by Woody Allen for ‘Midnight in Paris’.
Please contact me as soon as possible. I may be ‘scouting’ away from Paris between December 6-18.

    ..à bientôt..

    Hello Jacob,

Can you tell us more about your project, i understand it’s a night shoot.
The area of the café you sent as reference is perfect for working at night, it’s a pedestrian area with access for film crew vehicle. There are really many cafés and restaurants in this area .

Please find enclosed some example of cafés we scouted this year for a Lancôme Commercial Film and where people are film friendly. We also have all the connections with crew and suppliers in Paris.

Hope it Helps, don’t hesitate to come back to us. If you need a scouting of all the possible locations of this area, just ask.

    Best Regards,

    Gilles DARY
