    Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a fixer for an upcoming job for a hotel client of mine. They have one property in Laos and one property in Cambodia they wish to cover at the end of July/Early August. Day to day production (transport, accommodation, catering) is organized by the client. Equipment we can bring in (does the ATA carnet system work?). No additional crew is needed. They simply need help with assisting on the paperwork: process, required permits, smooth entries/exits of the country with the equipment.
Filming will take place on property mostly, and certain sites if permits allow for it.
They might want a drone depending how easy it is to bring one in.
    Anyone interested?
    Thank you all!

    Hi there,

I worked with Gabriel Kuperman (in Luang Prabang) when I filmed in Laos. You can contact him at director@lpfilmfest.org

All the best on your production!

Hi Chenut – Just a suggestion that it’s probably better for the local industry and economy to use a local national (*actual national, versus foreigner) if at all possible for your fixing needs. That would include avoiding foreign run and funded NGOs posing as state run government offices if you can; those entities may be using foreign government subsidies to dominate and unfairly compete with local enterprises. Of course this comment puts me out of work as well, as I am a foreigner (though I have years of experience in ASEAN), but I think it’s the right thing to do on this level at least. In any case, I can refer you to capable Cambodian and Laos nationals who can handle – kindly advise!
