sparkling room like gb pavillon on expo 2010 shanghai

we were inspired by the british pavilion on the expo 2010 in shanghai which was designed by thomas heatherwick. unfortunately the room is not existing anymore…

we are looking for something similar or maybe even something comparable built from mr heatherwick in your country: a sparkling, glittering room where we could shoot tv commerical showing a party scene with approx. 50 people.

we are aware that the room for the expo was unique so that it might be difficult to find something similar. it is important that the room has a modern contemporary feel and is not the classic baroque ball room in castles form the last century. but we are very open for any suggestion that go in this direction

Looking at your brief i would suggest Dubai or Abu, even Qatar. I saw the magnificent pavilion and believe with correct laser and lighting a lot can be recreated.
In South Africa we have ample big ball rooms, convention halls that could easily be dressed.
If you send me your mail I will send on to my Dubai affiliate at VIP Films and ask them for some references in UAE.
