Hi Brian,
Although Primorsky Krai is the opposite Far East end of Russia, over 5000 miles away from my Moscow and another 500 miles more from Saint Petersburg, but I have a pleasant surprise for you.
(A) I lived there for a few years, I know the area and some local film-friendly authorities.
( My company has successfully and quite creatively provided production services for a few international film projects there.
(C) In the next few weeks I plan to visit one of the cities there to shoot an episode of my documentary, so this may save your budget for initial recce.

Hi Clare, you’ll be surprised, but famous Italian architects built many houses like palaces a few centuries ago for rich and noble people in my Moscow and in the neighboring (only 700 km) St-Petersburg, plus the production budget is minimum 50 per cent less than in Rome.
