    Hi David,

    FYI I’m a veteran owner & founder of Moscow-based
    Russian Film Commission.

When necessary – to minimize costs – I operate
    as a man-orchestra fixer/producer.

Besides my int’l co-prods / my production services,
I have hired local crews in Russia, ex-USSR and
also in Western Europe for my own productions.

You can find some of my recent projects at
    https://www.russianfilm.biz .

I look forward to discussing your production(s).

BTW I left you a voice message in your office
    with my contacts.

    Best regards,

    Hi, Merri

I am Moscow-based producer co-producing int’l films in Russia and ex-USSR with my Russian Film Commission, speaking my native Russian, as well as English, Italian, a little French, Spanish and Japanese.

I also produced a few documentaries with nice episodes I fixed-and-filmed in Baden-Baden, Amsterdam, Maastricht, Antwerpen, Brussels, London, Oxford etc. minimizing the budget – decently.

We may discuss all that kind of projects and many other delicate issues at your convenience.

    Best regards,

    Dear Sir/Madam

How about Mongolia? It is much more cost-effective. And looks absolutely like China.
I have an excellent major Mongolian co-producer in the capital of Ulan-Bator.

    Dear Marcin Olczak,

I have excellent contacts in Lithuania, Kazakhstan and, definitely, in Russia (possibly in Latvia
since I have not often been or long-distance coordinated there). All the locations are quite
well-known. Coproduction is possible, of carefully discussed. I have a great coproducer in
Kazakstan, whose film Corn Island was an Oscar nominee in 2015. We may carefully discuss your project and find cost-effective creative options, if you contact me. Best,

    Hi Brian,
Although Primorsky Krai is the opposite Far East end of Russia, over 5000 miles away from my Moscow and another 500 miles more from Saint Petersburg, but I have a pleasant surprise for you.
    (A) I lived there for a few years, I know the area and some local film-friendly authorities.
    (B) My company has successfully and quite creatively provided production services for a few international film projects there.
    (C) In the next few weeks I plan to visit one of the cities there to shoot an episode of my documentary, so this may save your budget for initial recce.
Just let me know what-where-when and I’ll be glad to share with you some of my ideas and give you a clear cost-effective quote.

Hi Clare, you’ll be surprised, but famous Italian architects built many houses like palaces a few centuries ago for rich and noble people in my Moscow and in the neighboring (only 700 km) St-Petersburg, plus the production budget is minimum 50 per cent less than in Rome. Give me more information and I shall surprise you even more. Best regards, Eugene Zykov Russian Film Commission Cell: +7 (905) 545 34 14 (also via Facetime/Viber/Whatsup) http://www.russianfilm.biz

    Hi Charlotte,

I am based in Moscow and I’ll be glad to provide you with location photos, friendly hints and also share with you some creative ideas re. your PR series at my home city.

BTW one of my first and most memorable PR highlight was A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE SOVIET UNION with Moscow locations most extensively covered in this coffee-table photo album by best world-known photographers – besides a variety of film/TV/photo projects with NatGeo, Discovery etc. I have completed for the last 30 years.

PS. I also have very reliable partners in Belgium.

Hi Cho, welcome to the most appealing and cost-effective subtropical location in Southern Russia near Turkey: soft sunshine climate, lots of palms, bungalows, excellent beach of the Black Sea shore, smiling tourists, film-friendly local people and authorities, inexpensive accommodation and very good catering of local fruits and food. The ideal season starts soon: Indian Summer. Best, Eugene Zykov Russian Film Commission Mobile +7 905 545 34 14 ez@russianfilm.biz http://www.russianfilm.biz

    Dear Michaele,

Here’s some more photos of locations: the first one is in Moscow and all others are famous old aristocratic palaces or botanic gardens (including Green Wall Labyrinth) in Southern Russia.

Most welcome to enjoy in August a sunny mild weather for film production and – importantly – a very cost-effective season, now that currency rate is most favorable for West-European producers in Russia.
