    Hi Anne-Marie,

For most EU citizens it is possible to travel to Serbia without a proper passport (with an ID only). For UK citizens that actually means taking a proper passport. A visa is required only if you stay longer than 30 or 60 days. You can always try to find that information at your Ministry of Foreign Affairs website. They usually post all general information with regard to travelling and required documents.

Transporting your camera equipment across the borders should not be a problem at all. Though I have no idea whether you would be able to rent a car in one country and return it in another. Taking in consideration that the car would leave EU territory I would find that even more unlikely. But, you have made me curious and I checked two or three sites. Some search engines allow Belgrade as a return location others are limited to one country only. I believe the best idea would be to speak to one of them directly or have a Romanian fixer check that for you to be on a safe side.

    Good luck with your shoot.
    Kind regards,

    Dear Jean-Pierre,

Thank you for your interest in shooting in Poland.

There are quite a few “abandonded” unrestored locations in Poland, usually available to shoot at. There are also several depots. I would be more than happy to assist you in your reserach and help you find a proper place according to your requirements. I would greatly appreciate more details should you be willing to share them with me at this stage. I would do my best to advise on the most suitable solution.

    Kind regards,

in reply to: Daisy field in Greece / Latvia / Europe

    Dear Ros,

I believe you might find a place like that in Poland. I will do some research later today and try to find examples of what you might be possibly getting here. A daisy is likely to bloom from March till November. There is one kind of daisy that is common for this part of Europe. I have attached a link to wikipedia for reference and for you to see whether this is the actual plant you are looking for.

in reply to: Looking for a lake with natural ice…

    Dear Mireille,
there is a beautiful lake district in the north east part of Poland. We are likely to hit harsh winter this year and low temperatures in that very area are considered granted.

I would be pleased to offer you our service. Please, do not hesitate to contact me on my e-mail address should you need any examples of locations sent to you.

    Kind regards,
