  • in reply to: Rye Wheat or barley fields wanted in April

    Hi Frank
A general background on wheat. This is a winter crop. It is planted in winter and harvested in summer. In South Africa we have various areas that harvest at different times of the year.I don’t think you will find golden wheatfields anywere in the world that lasts until April. Our harvest periods falls between September & latest November. This crop is also weather dependent. Attached a example of a field in South Africa. If you want to shift your shoot period from April to the end of this year I am sure you will find what you require in South Africa. You can mail me on frans@moonlighting.co.za for more info

in reply to: Kayak jump waterfall 30 meters

    Hi Xavier
Moonlighting also runs in Chile – Santiago. I have done previous research on a request for extreme kayaking and the options in Chile are unbelievable. A area south of Santiago approx 789 Km will give you some of the best extreme kayaking ever.
Check out this link from Chile, Pucon region. http://www.kayakpucon.net/mapa/chile/chile.html
Please note accessibilities to the kayaking areas with have to be checked. If you need more info please contact me.

in reply to: Kayak jump waterfall 30 meters

    Hi Xavier
In South Africa we have great rivers with great white water rafting option and some kayaking areas. In land are going into dry season now, so the rivers will not run as strong as on the coast. We don’t have the extreme high drops of 20 meter to 30 meters. The best options is about 15 meters. We can not guarantee a constant flow of water through the year. We will have to do a more intensive search on certain areas in SA.
I have been in contact with operators who deals mainly with kayaking and white water rafting. Their feelings are that we will not be able to find the ideal water drop.
If you need more info please contact me.

in reply to: I’am looking for rye field…

    Hi Ieva
I’ve done research on the Rye in South Africa. There are 2 kinds of Rye. Rye Wheat and Rye Grass. Which one are you after? This is a winter crop and stays green throughout winter and then becomes brown during the summer season. In SA we have in some areas only the Rye Grass. I have been in contact with the Agricultural Ass in SA and are still trying to locate were you can find fields if any. I also compared the Rye flower to the Wheat Flower. Rye is much finer and longer than wheat, But from a distance you can’t tell the diffrence between the two. Rye and wheat gets harvest around the middle to end of January or Area dependant. I think the best option is to create this field in a area to your needs. South Africa Greens People are top of their class. I hope we can issist you in your project.

When do you plan to shoot?
