Location Collective, one of the UK’s largest studio owner-operator behind projects such as Loki and Napoleon, announced today the opening of their Hertfordshire based studio. The OMA V Film Studios’ launch comes on the heels of the UK Spring Budgets investment into the local screen industry, including a 40% tax credits for UK based studios. The new facility will provide a purpose made space for high-end TV shows and feature films on the five acre site.

The Location Managers Guild International announced today the opening of their submissions for the 11th annual awards show. Set for 24 August 2024, the ceremony will once again spotlight the importance of filming locations for the overall setting, character and narrative focuses in film, as well as the film commissions facilitating the scouting, pre-production and general production of projects. Submissions will close 6 May 2024.

Taking a step away from their celebrity centred campaign, Just Eat have enlisted the help of Wes Anderson style puppets to show the everyday nature of takeaways. In a series of short clips, the animals engage in the all too relatable habits of having a McDonald’s in bed or gathering with friends and enjoying Five Guys. The McCann London campaign was directed by the award winning Tim McNaugton of the Bobbsey Twins.
