The 2024 Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) will open with Netflix title Uprising, a Korean feature set against the backdrop of war and following the journey through the lives of two childhood friends turned foes. This opening night premiere joins a longlist of Netflix productions include in the programme, as the streamer establishes a key partnership with the film festival taking place from 2-11 October.

Coming to a close on Friday 21 June, the international festival of creativity announced their final winners amongst the film, titanium, glass and Social Development Goals. This year’s Cannes Lions saw some history making moments, including Iceland and independent agency Bood Brand Accelerator’s s first wins as well as the first Luxury and Lifestyle Lions taken home by Loewe.
