The newly built Belfast Harbour Studios in Northern Ireland has secured its first major television series in the form of Krypton, a prequel to DC’s Man of Steel. James Wan’s Aquaman will now be filmed in Australia’s Gold Coast, after an unspecified incentive deal was reached between Warner Bros. and the Queensland Government. The production is expected to bring in a local spend of AUS100 million, creating at least 600 new jobs in the process.
