Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Gabriel García Márquez’s winning of the Nobel Prize in Literature, Netflix announced their upcoming series, Making of Macondo. With the first look into the production shared on 21 October, the project, filmed in Colombia, will give viewers an intimate look into the making of the universe of García Márquez’s One Hundred Years of Solitude.

The second iteration of this digital campaign, Press Reset 2021 tackles the damaging impacts of ableism, and urgently calls for the screen sector to change how it engages with disabled talent behind and in front of the camera.
Film commissioner Susannah Greason Robbins is saying goodbye to the industry. After serving 11 years as executive director of the San Francisco Film Commission, Robbins has officially announced her resignation. The longstanding commissioner’s last day is 31st December 2021.
