The BFI, together with its Disability Screen Advisory Group, has launched a new initiative called Press Reset. The second iteration of this digital campaign, Press Reset 2021 tackles the damaging impacts of ableism, and urgently calls for the screen sector to change how it engages with disabled talent behind and in front of the camera.

Running for twelve days from the second to the thirteenth of October the 2019 BFI London Film Festival will present two-hundred and twenty-nine films that celebrate the diverse landscape of international cinema.
Joining in 2003, Amanda Neville transformed the BFI into the lead organisation for film, TV and the moving image in the UK, leading initiatives and strategies designed to support a vibrant, national film culture for the independent film sector. She will step down from her position in early 2020.
