Advertising Producers Association (APA) has re-joined The Location Guide as a media partner for our Soiree at this year’s Cannes Lions Festival. The APA looks after the interests of commercial production companies in the UK through production, post-production and visual effects.
Production Service Network (PSN) has been a regular partner of The Location Guide at Cannes Lions and will be joining us again this year for our annual Soiree fringe event. Camino Media launched PSN in March 2014 and the organisation has exclusive partners around the world.

The Location Managers Guild of America has announced the nominations for its second annual awards show. Location professionals will spend the next few weeks voting and the winners will be announced at a ceremony in Beverly Hills on 7 March.
Wes Anderson’s quirky comedy The Grand Budapest Hotel has landed 11 nominations for the 2015 BAFTAs. Stephen Hawking romance The Theory of Everything and Alejandro G Iñárritu’s Birdman are among the other leading contenders, with ten nominations each.
In 2014 some 400 film permits were issued for shoots in Clark County, Nevada, which encompasses Las Vegas, marking a regional record. Nevada launched a filming incentive in January, but the programme was largely defunded in September.
