Screen Cornwall released their first economic impact figures reporting the local film and television industry GBP 5 million worth to the economy last year. In addition, the screen agency received a funding boost of almost GBP 400,000 driving growth for the local screen sector and extending to its outreach and talent development programme.

The cinematic approach to the brand’s promotion makes use of grainy muted tones providing a nostalgic quality reminiscent of old home videos. The filming locations for Denis Villeneuve’s second instalment of award-winning science fiction film Dune have been revealed. Some familiar, and others new territory to be explored, filming will take place in Abu Dhabi, Budapest, Jordan, and Italy. The production will be released from Warner Bros.
