Production service company Benetone Films have shot their latest music video on location in Thailand for the Swedish electronic-duo Galantis. With offices based in Santa Monica, Krakow and Bangkok, Benetone’s worldwide reach has led the company to service a range of projects including commercials for Coca-Cola and Nestlé.
The third season of HBO’s comedy-drama Ballers will still film partially in the state of the Florida despite its lack of a tax incentive programme. Ballers has been filmed solely in Miami, Florida to date, but for the first time will be looking elsewhere to ensure a greater return on expenditures incurred by the production.
A feature film adaptation of Stephen King’s novel, Gerald’s Game is now being filmed on location in Mobile, Alabama. The project will debut as an original film on Netflix’s streaming service, with the Santa Monica based Intrepid Pictures on-board to produce.
A new programme entitled NYC Film Green has been unveiled by New York City Mayor, Bill de Blasio to inspire productions to operate with a greater awareness of their carbon footprint. While entirely voluntary, the programme will be the first of its kind to recognise the impact of film and television productions on the environment.

Taking charge as the centre’s first Film Commissioner, David Shepheard has a host of managerial credits from his time working in the London film industry.
International films that shoot in China will soon be able to access an incredible 40% rebate, jointly funded by Wang Jialin’s Dalia Wanda Group and the Qingdao regional Government. The rebate won’t apply on a national scale however, accessible only to productions that film at Wanda’s Movie Metropolis facility in Qingdao.
The second film in the Jack Reacher cinematic series, set to release October 21st was partially shot on location in Merton Park, London. The shoot involved landing a helicopter in Merton Park while sound stages at Wimbledon Studios were also used in accordance with assistance provided by the Merton Film Office.
