The Darkest Hour shoot resumes in Moscow after fire delay
Filming on alien invasion thriller The Darkest Hour has resumed in Moscow after wildfires forced shutdown on the production for several weeks.
At the time a spokesman for Summit Entertainment said: “We do not foresee this temporary stoppage of filming affecting the film’s wrap date as we always build contingencies into a production schedule to account for unforeseen situations.”
The Moscow wildfires coincided with scheduled exterior scenes in the production so the decision was made to suspend filming. Emile Hirsch and Olivia Thirlby are among the stars of the film.
