I run a corporate video production company in Manchester UK. I am from a broadcast background and was trained as an engineer at the BBC. I have done most jobs in the industry, maintenance, radio links, camera, sound, editing, telecine, vision control etc.
I was the head of technical operations for Lime Pictures and have post production experience with Avid and Final Cut Pro. I am interested in new workflows (such as red cam) and new technology as well as delivering complete programmes to clients.
I am a mentor in the industry.
I welcome collaborations, especially those that are of interest and financially rewarding!
You could set up a network on something like ning or other social network tools such as facebook, the groups could be by your invitation only to keep some quality control!

I’m not sure if I can help you but I am a Producer based in Brighton / London working on feature films. Currently I am completing post production on Dave Mckean’s “Luna” the follow up to “Mirrormask” the film we made for Sony Pictures through the Jim Henson Company.

I am also involved in producing two further animated feature films that have just gone into pre-production through a London animation studio – Darkside Animation.

In my opinion, and if you require any Digital Animation or Vis FX they are as good as the Creature Workshop and pride themselves on producing animation of the quality of Pixar at a fraction of the price.
